Jet air fs 301 60 in al2

Aeration is a process step to bring oxygen in the water. For example aeration is used to oxidize solved manganese to be able to filter it out afterwards. Aeration can also be used to remove CO2 from the water.

The process step of stabilization can contain different kinds of steps. A typical step would be the pH adjustment. By dosing chemicals the pH is adjusted to be in the range needed for the later purposes.

Another possibility of stabilisation could be a mixing of demineralized water with a very hard one to get the water chemistry balanced.

Also filtering the water over a CaCo3 is commonly used to balance the water.

In most water treatment applications a control is used to secure a stable process. All different process steps are controlled and operated via such a system. Recording can be done, and most of the online water quality measurements are visualized through the control system. Additional to the overall control systems it is very common to use local controllers (e.g. for water quality measurements, or internal/external VFD for pump control). In case of chemical measurements for example the controller is used for calibrating the sensors directly at the process step.
